Costa Rica Cooking Class and Coffee Demo – Learn how to make gallo pinto – a traditional and popular Costa Rican dish of rice, beans, vegetables and spices with ingredients from local farmers. Use a chorreador, a Costa Rican coffee making device, to make fresh coffee with local beans.
Turtle Release Program - Three types of turtle nestings occur at Jobo's beach: Baula, Hawksbill and Green, during the months of March to September. When the turtles spawn, the area where they nest is protected by resort staff. Educational talks from staff to guests also occur.
