Zoëtry Paraiso’s dog policy allows dogs under 22 lbs. (10kgs) for $75 USD per night, in specific room categories only.

Please check with your airline for information regarding traveling with pets, including security and TSA guidelines.

Only small dogs are permitted

Required upon check-in:

Dog’s name, weight, age, color, and breed for identification purposes during their stay

Vaccination certificate from veterinarian proving Bordetella and Rabies vaccinations within the past 12 months

Evidence that a current treatment for fleas and ticks is in use

No more than one dog is permitted in any guest room. Dog is allowed only on designated dog area(s) of the hotel grounds, restaurants & bars. Dogs are not allowed in the Pool, Fitness Center, Spa, Retail shops, and Golf facilities

Due to local regulations, dogs are not allowed on the beach.

Dog must be on a controlled leash at all times or in a dog carrier when not in the guest room. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after the dog on resort grounds and properly disposing waste in designated areas.

Dogs cannot be left alone in guest rooms for periods longer than two hours. Guest must notify the front desk and hang the “Dog Friendly Room” door hanger when leaving their dog unattended in the guest room. Guest must answer the cell phone number provided to the resort while their dog is unattended in case there are any issues.

Dogs must never be left alone overnight. Please contact the concierge if boarding recommendations are needed.

Guest room cleaning services will not be carried out unless the guest is present. The dog owner must be in the room if the dog is present when the guest’s room is cleaned, in order to not frighten the pet and to avoid the risk of a pet’s escape. mangrove forest and a secluded white sand beach with jewel-blue Caribbean waters, the 22,000-squarefoot ocean front Thalasso Center & Spa, the first and only certified Thalassotherapy center in North America, is a true temple of healing, composed of a large outdoor therapeutic saltwater pool, 14 wet and dry specialized treatment rooms, fitness facilities, separate male and female saunas and steam rooms, Temazcal (a traditional Mexican steam bath). The Thalasso Center & Spa incorporates ancient traditions and modern health science to offer a wide range of treatments including personalized facials, slimming, remodeling, toning, relaxing, revitalizing and detoxifying treatments and body wraps, saltwater hydrotherapy and hydro massages, aparatology (Indiba, endermologie, G5), specialized massages and native Mayan treatments. Thalassotherapy cleanses and invigorates your body through the use of freshly heated seawater, seaweed and marine mud that infuse the skin with minerals and nutrients and help eliminate toxins. In addition, the Thalasso Center provides additional wellness experiences including Aquagym, Yoga, Meditation and, strength and cardiovascular training facilities, physiotherapy, nutrition, acupuncture and Chinese medicine services and Mayan healing practices.

Thalasso Seawater Treatment*

The ultimate guided journey into the world of thalassotherapy. The welcome ritual begins in our steam room, allowing the heat to soothe and loosen muscles, open your pores and eliminate toxins. As an interlude, your guide will take you to our heated thalassotherapy seawater pool to stimulate your open pores and engage in specialized routines with the help of our hydrojets to relax your muscles. We round off the ritual with a brief introduction to the therapeutic application of hot and cold water (also known as Kneip therapy). Alternating between hot and cold experiences with precise timing relaxes and revitalizes your body by stimulating the circulatory and immune system and promoting detoxification. This is the first step in restoring your body to a state of harmony and complimentary with your Endless Privileges.

Temazcal Experience

The traditional, renewing Temazcal ceremony is led by an Intercessor, or healer, and is one hour long. The ritual will begin with a blessing from the Intercessor, and one by one, guests will enter the Temazcal structure, sitting in a circle for the healing ceremony. The shelter will be filled with hot stones and the Intercessor will guide participants through the spiritual ritual, involving aromas, herbal steams, sounds and sensations.
